Well, I finally finished my beloved tube of Caudalie Vine Body Butter last weekend, and yes, it was just like Maxwell House Coffee (good to the last drop). Polishing it off also left a void in my heart that I knew only one thing could fill, and the name of that thing starts with the [...]

I reviewed the mascara from Honeybee Gardens a while ago. The next item from my sale order is their Party Girl Eye Shadow Palette. It took me a while to decide which palette to test out but these bright colors called my name. Once they ran their 20% off special, I knew it was time to place my order. The palette packaging is adorable. I absolutely love it for that! Then add that the eye colors have a soft consistency, apply smoothly, work well with my make up brushes and last well. They aren't dry pressed eyeshadows. You just work your brush into the color a bit and apply to your lid. I found them to apply very easily and have a soft feel on. I can barely tell that I have make up on my eyes because it doesn't feel like it. When I look in the mirror, I sure can see it with these gorgeous bright shades. Even though these colors look bright and bold in the palette, you can do a softer look with them. It is all about layering. If you want to go bold, pick up more color with your brush and layer away. If you want soft and more subtle, go lightly with your brush and don't layer so much. They can apply sheer or more opaque depending on your technique. I have to say, I am really happy I ordered these. The palettes retail for $29.99 which isn't bad for 4 colors and a little brush. Keep your eyes out for Honeybee Gardens facebook page announcements or emails and you might be able to get a sale or promo!Top R to L: Velour, Mojito Bottom R to L: Cupcake, ShipwreckInfo from the Honeybee Gardens Website: Party girls never take life too seriously. Mysterious things that confuse me… The allure of Mark Ruffalo. I dunno, he kinda reminds me of those caveman guys from the Geico commercials. I just don’t get it (sorry, Mark! I loved you in The Avengers!). Cat allegiance. Tabs loves me, Tabs loves me not. One day he’s following me from room to room [...]
